Heat Sink Design Assignment Project: Thermal Optimization for T/R Module in Phased Array Antenna

Project Background

My project is similar to my senior’s FYP, which is documented in FYP Thesis 200561. However, the difference is in the heat sink design, as my heat sink is intended for a different application. That’s why I asked you to refer to the senior’s PDF file as a guide.

Project Overview

My project focuses on improving the design of a heat sink used in the T/R Module of a Phased Array Antenna. The main goals of my project are to:

1. Increase heat dissipation
2. Reduce the temperature of the operating device
3. Minimize the thermal boundary layer

I have provided a reference design based on a published article. You need to perform:

• Mesh independence analysis
