Instructions:
- Project Selection:
- Identify an engineering project with a budget of at least $500,000. This could be a construction project, infrastructure development, technology implementation, or any other relevant engineering project.
- Project Initiation:
- Develop a project charter that includes the project objectives, scope, stakeholders, and high-level requirements.
- Identify the key stakeholders and their roles.
- Project Planning:
- Create a detailed project plan using Microsoft Project software.
- Define the project scope and create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that outlines all the tasks and deliverables.
- Develop a project schedule, including start and end dates for each task, milestones, and dependencies.
- Identify and allocate resources (human, material, and financial) required for each task.
- Develop a budget plan that includes cost estimates for all tasks and resources.
- Identify potential risks and develop a risk management plan.
- Project Execution:
- Outline the process for executing the project plan, including task assignments, resource allocation, and communication plans.
- Describe how you will manage and track project progress using Microsoft Project.
- Project Monitoring and Controlling:
- Explain the methods you will use to monitor project performance and control changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop a plan for regular status reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Measurement and Estimation of Risk:
- Describe the techniques or approach to identify, prioritize and comes out with mitigation plan as part of the risk management plan.
- Please quote at least 10 the relevant reference for your work.
