BBA2033/BBA1183 INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS
- Students are required to work individually.
- The written report should be approximately 3000 words each excluding references.
The report should be typed using 12-point Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing. The number of words should be shown at the end of your report.
- Students are required to submit the assessment in the PDF format.
- The answers MUST be supported by evidences/references from previous studies
- Students MUST attach the marking rubric into the appendix section of the assignment.
- Submission deadline is by 59pm on the 30th December 2025. Submission after this due date will NOT be accepted.
- This individual assignment report is to be submitted in the Week 5 “Report (Assessed 20%)” in eQIU.
EVALUATION
This individual assignment carries 20% of the total marks for the course. Students will be given feedback on the assignment before the Final Assessment commences.
PLAGIARISM: MARKS DEDUCTION
1) Students should not copy another person’s work as their own. If plagiarism is detected, zero (0) marks would be given.
2) The maximum similarity index permitted is 30%. AI index should not exceed 20%.
3) Students are required to submit their reports directly to the EQIU platform, which will automatically generate the similarity index.

The course assessment is mapped to the course learning outcome number 1 (CLO1) – By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the concepts of management, motivation, and behaviour within organisations. (A3, PLO5)
PURPOSE
The purpose for writing articles or journal reviews is for you to analyse somebody’s work to increase your understanding of it. Specifically, in critically reading and analysing articles and arguments of your interest and related to your course area that is Organisational Behaviour, namely the following:
1) Management and Organisational Behaviour:
The nature of work and changing workplace management
2) Motivation and Engagement:
Motivating and engaging different generations of employees
3) Individual and Cultural Differences:
Employee Abilities and Skills, Personality and Work Behaviour, Cultural Differences & Conflict, Values and Ethics
REQUIREMENT
- In this article review you are required to analyse TWO (2) articles related to the above-mentioned areas either from the website link below that contain some primary research articles: ProQuest Central: proquest or from the following journal list (not limited):

- Students need to evaluate the chosen articles, using your own words, by addressing the following guidelines:
a) Examine the articles and provide your overall impression or introduction to the studies (article 1 and 2).
b) Examine the theories of organisational behaviour that were used in the studies.
c) Examine the concepts of organisational behaviour that were used in the studies.
d) Identify the framework of the studies.
e) Implications of the studies.
f) Recommendations for the future researchers.
g) Conclusion & References.
Note: Journal articles and/or other references used must be published from year 2021 onwards.
