This final assessment asks trainee teachers to build a small, creative assessment module for Form 1 beginners on English nouns and adjectives, fractions and percentages, or Frasa Nama and Frasa Kerja. You produce a pupil reference note, an objective worksheet at Bloom’s C1–C2, a subjective worksheet at C3, and marking schemes with a table of specifications.
Final Assessment (60 marks)
There is ONE (1) question in this Final Assessment question paper.
Question 1: Designing a Creative Introductory Assessment Module
Design a short reference note, two sets of worksheets (one objective, one subjective) and their marking schemes to test Form 1 beginner pupils on any ONE of these topics (you may choose based on your major/preference):
- Nouns & Adjectives (English), or
- Fractions & Percentages (Mathematics), or
- Frasa Nama & Frasa Kerja (Bahasa Melayu).
You may use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Canva or any other application (portrait or landscape layout); the final submission must be in PDF. Your submission must consist of FOUR parts compiled together in one PDF file.
Part 1: Quick Reference Note for Pupils (10 marks)
- Format: a concise summary note for pupils to refer to before or while answering the worksheets.
- Content: simple explanations of key terms and clear examples suited to Form 1 beginner learners.
- Use learner-friendly formats such as mini-charts, bullet points or graphic organisers.
Part 2: Worksheet 1 – Objective Test (20 marks)
- Cognitive levels: Bloom’s Taxonomy C1 (Remembering) and C2 (Understanding).
- Suggested formats: 5 True/False questions, 5 matching questions and 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Focus: test pupils’ ability to recall rules and forms (C1) and understand how they are used (C2).
Part 3: Worksheet 2 – Subjective Test (20 marks)
- Cognitive level: Bloom’s Taxonomy C3 (Applying).
- Suggested formats: 5 sentence-construction questions and ONE set of short contextual writing questions (for BI/BM), or 8 problem-solving questions (for Mathematics).
- Focus: pupils produce their own answers by applying rules (C3).
Part 4: Marking Schemes and Test Specification Table for Teachers (10 marks)
- Worksheet 1: complete answer key.
- Worksheet 2: sample answers and a clear scoring guide for each question.
- Table of Specifications: a simple one-page table showing which question tests which topic, cognitive level (C1, C2, C3) and mark allocation.

The marks depend on alignment: every item in Worksheet 1 should match C1 or C2, Worksheet 2 must genuinely require application (C3), and the table of specifications has to show the same topics, levels and marks as the worksheets. Generative AI tools can speed up drafting, but you still need to check that examples suit Form 1 beginners and that answer keys are correct.
