This course approaches human resources from a strategic perspective. It covers decisions that would be made by top management teams, or by managers of strategic business units. An emphasis will be placed on Human Resource (HR) decisions and practices and how they are influenced by forces internal and external to the organization, including business strategy, global competition, technological change, unionization, and workforce characteristics.
