Assignment Task

Critically examine the legal framework and commercial significance of marine insurance in international trade. In your answer, discuss the essential elements of a marine insurance contract, including insurable interest, indemnity, and the principle of utmost good faith (uberrimae fidei). Analyze the duties of the insured, particularly in relation to disclosure and representation, and evaluate the legal consequences of non-disclosure or misrepresentation.
