FINAL PROJECT REPORT 

Proposal Writing and Presentation

Part 1: Proposal Writing (30%)

• Objective: The purpose of this assignment is to assess students’ cognitive skills by requiring them to produce a comprehensive and structured report comprising three chapters of a research proposal. This final project serves to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course, demonstrating students’ ability to engage in advanced research planning and academic writing. The assignment provides an opportunity to apply the principles of scientific research discussed in class to real-world contexts. Students are expected to develop a research proposal that addresses current business and management issues, ensuring the setting and focus are relevant to the field of business and management. Through this exercise, students will not only deepen their understanding of research methodologies but also enhance their ability to articulate and propose practical solutions to industry-related challenges.
• Assignment Description: Students will submit a final project report consisting of three chapters of a research proposal. The proposal must build on their previous work, showcasing their ability to synthesize information, critically evaluate sources, and develop a well-organized framework for conducting research. The chapters required are:

Submission Requirements:

The report should be between 7,000 and 8,000 words in length, excluding references and appendices. To maintain consistency and professionalism, the document must be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing and standard margins. All citations and references should follow the APA referencing style, ensuring adherence to academic conventions and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students are required to submit their completed proposal report in PDF format. The submission deadline is 17 JANUARY 2026, before midnight.

Part 2: Proposal Presentation (10%)

Objective:

To assess students’ personal skills by requiring them to deliver a professional presentation summarizing their research proposal. This assignment emphasizes communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills, enabling students to effectively convey the significance and feasibility of their research project.

Assignment Description:

Students will prepare and deliver a 15-minute presentation based on their research proposal. The presentation should highlight the key elements of their proposal, including the research problem, objectives, literature review, methodology, and expected contributions. Students are encouraged to use visual aids, such as slides or charts, to enhance clarity and engagement.

Submission Requirements:

The presentation should be delivered within a duration of 15 minutes. Students are required to use PowerPoint or other visual presentation tools, with a maximum of 10 slides. The presentation must focus on key aspects of the research proposal, including an engaging introduction that highlights the significance of the research, a clear articulation of the research objectives and methodology, and a logical flow of content. Professional delivery is essential, with an emphasis on effective communication and organization to ensure clarity and engagement with the audience.
