3. ABSOLUTELY NO EXTENSIONS. Failure to submit either part of the assessment will result in an automatic failure in this course. Extensions and late submission will not be entertained under any circumstances.
4. Any student’s project, which is found to be similar to other student(s) or other thesis elsewhere will be given a FAILURE for this subject.
5. You MAY NOT use AI-generated text (e.g., ChatGPT, automated writing tools) or copy-paste from any source for any reason. All work must reflect your own critical thinking, analysis, and synthesis of the literature.

Referencing and Plagiarism Rules

1. You must reference all sources used, even where you do not use the exact words that appear in the source.
2. All sources taken from books, journals, lecture notes, or any other materials must be properly cited and referenced in accordance with APA 7th edition. You must not copy and paste directly; instead, express the ideas in your own understanding through paraphrasing. Preserving the originality of your work is essential. All projects will be subjected to Turnitin, and the similarity index must not exceed 19%. Any submission exceeding this limit will result in an immediate penalty of a 50% deduction from the total marks.
3. Where you use another author’s ideas, but phrase these ideas in your own words. This must be cited as a ‘paraphrasing’, except quotation with a quotation mark (in line with APA 7th edition). Wherever you do use the exact words of another author, you must recognise this by citing as a quotation (not a paraphrasing). Citing a direct quote as a paraphrasing may constitute deliberate plagiarism.
4. You are reminded that the intentional unacknowledged appropriation of other people’s work constitutes plagiarism and that the University’s policy in this regard will be enforced. Ignorance of what constitutes plagiarism is unlikely to be a successful defense.
5. Please note that it is likely that you will identify scholarly articles which review the earnings business management literature. If you use these to help you structure your write-up, or if you cite sources referenced by these papers, but which you have not read yourself, you must disclose this appropriately.
6. To check the Similarity Index, kindly email your assignment to: siti_nurmaizura@msu.edu.my 3 days before Final Report submission. Attach the Turnitin report together with the submission.

Project Format and Formatting Rules

1. Your write up MUST BE TYPED using Microsoft Words. Again. Only Microsoft Word Document File Format is ACCEPTED. Any other FORMAT UPLOADED WILL NOT BE MARKED!
2. Complete Chapter 1 to 3. Your write up needs to demonstrate your depth of understanding with clear explanation and supporting details with relevant examples where necessary. Minimum word count is 14,200.
3. Your write up should adopt the format of an academic piece of report work. Write in fluent, formal English.
4. Your write-up should be arranged in sequence and labelled appropriately.
5. You are required to produce your write-up within the required word count.

6. The additional requirement for the overall answer presentation:
   • Student ID Number on each page (Header).
   • Margin must be a 1-inch margin on all sides with page numbers at the bottom centred (Footer)
   • Font: 12 points, Times New Roman

   • Referencing Style: APA 7^th Edition
