Prepare and submit a minimum 500-word technical self-assessment report based on the topic given below. The report should be typed using the following format (Font type – Aptos 11, 1.5-line spacing, Justified)
Title: Application and Verification of Wave Shaping and 555 Timer Circuits Using Multisim Simulation
Students are required to design and analyse a wave shaping circuit and a 555-timer oscillator circuit. The report must demonstrate application of electronic device theory, supported with circuit diagrams, relevant formulas, step by step calculations, and output values (e.g., voltage, gain, frequency). Students must illustrate waveform behaviour by comparing input and output signals and verify circuit performance using Multisim simulation. All circuits must be originally designed or appropriately modified by the student. Direct copying from textbooks or online sources without modification is strictly not allowed.
